1968 Ford BRONCO, 302, C4 trans, Dana 20 TC... Runs good, needs suspension.
I have a 1968 Ford BRONCO. My father gave it to me when i was 16 after the battery died on him one day off-roading. It sat for around for 4 years because I never had the money to do anything with it. Recently (since January) I've put some money into it to make it run good and be legal. Brand new 33" mud brute tires (still have hairs on them). Carb rebuild, All new fuel lines and filter. New rear axles. New brakes all the way around. New reproduction main fuel tank with new sending unit, (still have steel original to restore). New air filter set up. New alternator. New fuel pump. New battery, plugs, wires. Wiring harness has been gone through and charging system is ok. It was converted to power steering before I ever got it. Ive spent alot of time stripping the paint and primering(Body = Dark grey) (Wheels, grill, bumpers = semi flat white). Body is in good condition, some dings (small) and dents but whats expected of a 40 year old 4x4.
I stripped the interior and am going to carpet soon. Seats and five-points will come with it, or ill knock $500 off the for sale price and keep them for myself.
I have original shell and tire rack too. Rack is complete. Shell is dented on top like it was sat on or something. I dont use the shell though so it doesnt matter to me. (This all goes with the truck upon sale).
WHAT IT DOES NEED: Full weatherstrip kit and window seals. New aftermarket fiberglass hoodscoop It could stand to have an up-to-date wiring harness Driver window Paint and clear coat New suspension... i think thats it.
Im realistic, it was sitting for 4 years. Even then I was getting SOLID $4000 offers left and right but I never took them. Now its running good, tagged and ready to roll. I know the low appraisal value of a semi-working condition BRONCO is around $9000. And because of the work it still need I dont expect more than $6500 for it. If I'm asking too much maybe we can negotiate further. Up to date photos upon request as well as any details you seek.... and my e-mail is: jcbluth@gmail.com.
Thank you for your time, John Bluth, CA
